I feel your pain with the shelter experience - I had an equally exasperating experience over an entirely different issue (a crazed Rotweiller that imprisioned me and my son, then ultimately my husband, and a deputy sheriff in our home for 12 hours and they wouldn't provide me with the location or name of the dog's owner when it was released back to them....) Very sad. Have fun getting to know your new pet! What kind of three ring circus are they running?? Sounds to me like they will be setting up a lot of animals for extermination that could have been placed in loving homes, and that is a darn shame!

My son has a white with orange spotted lion face named Gizmo. He has a little bit of attitude but is crazy cute! Scooter Pie is so adorable. Congratulations on your new addition! ;)Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00141554132273386112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1515069729502883563.post-6724666072728514342011-05-20T12:03:02.306-07:002011-05-20T12:03:02.306-07:00Same thing happened to my sister when she tried to...Same thing happened to my sister when she tried to get a dog from the shelter here in the NY/NJ area!!! She was hoping to get a puggle (combo pug and beagle), but didn't for the same reasons you have mentioned. Come to the home? Really? She ended up getting one from a nice family in Missouri!!
Good luck with Scooter Pie -- he's a real cutie.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06289206422022694413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1515069729502883563.post-352451873027143682011-05-20T11:13:18.497-07:002011-05-20T11:13:18.497-07:00Wow! I understand the need to check out who they place the animals in their care with but a home visit? Absolutely ridiculous!

Well good thing for Scooter Pie as he got a new home with you and your family.

Ddee begghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03454376668751849560noreply@blogger.com
