Clarinda Show Next Week

The date always sneaks up on me, but I'm off to Clarinda next week for my annual Christmas sale, hoping for good weather and a good crowd--no worries about merchandise, I have so many wonderful things ready and no need for last minute crafting. I hope to get all these things out to ebay tonight, no holiday for me today!

I braved the icy wind to get outside to get enough light to photograph today. I did up bunches of trees, these are on the expensive side because of their antique containers, most $50 to $100. The tins pitchers will be $38 each.

Gingerbread

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is gingerbread men, I have a recipe to make them as ornaments, not to eat and are supposed to last years. Hoping it is a good experiment, I have a plan to make tiny ones to go in little wood bowls, medium size for wreaths and other things and I want to do tall primitive guys to fill up a big jar I have. These are ginger ornaments that I bought years ago, just using them as props for these great antiques.

White Christmas

Well, I guess I'm not quite over white paint...I just finished tons of Christmas to list, only need the time to do it.

More Stuff!

I am going to start Christmas like crazy soon, but in the meantime, these projects just got done. I am currently over my white mood and seem to want to gravitate to really primitive and black, we'll see what next week brings!
