The Paper Dolls are Out of Control

I purchased every little bottle brush tree in town and have used them all creating vast quantities of paper doll things.  Here are just a few--my cupboards are overflowing with these!

Christmas Workshop Open, Nervous Breakdown Commencing

There are trees and jingle bells strewn over every surface in my house.  The pile of antiques needing the attention of my paint brush has grown to mountainous proportions.  The finished goods are sitting on all the chairs in the living room waiting for me to have time to photograph and list them.   Sooooo, here is what I do have photographed and now to run off to list them...

Family Week Here at the House

I have been hosting family reunions all week, culminating in large family dinner in Clarinda, lots of noise and fun and boy am I tired.  I had put off finishing the guest room and of course everything went wrong as I tried to finish it before every one arrived.  We ended up with a one coat of new paint room with a clean bed at midnight the night they got here.  I have to go back and finish painting and touching up the floor, never ending work.  I have one more get together this weekend, so still much to do.

I have the week to myself, so will be busy listing everything I didn't have time to get to before the barrage of guests.

Now Moving On to Christmas

I have been putting Christmas things together for weeks, but each thing needed one last finishing touch and I kept procrastinating.  I spent quite a bit of time working on them yesterday and today was photo day.   There is so much more to come--I have so many bottle brush trees covering every surface in the dining room--having a craft room now is not helping me at all.  There has been some wonderful sale every weekend lately and I can hardly get the craft room door open, as I just keep piling up the projects.   I got a bad bout of insomnia going on lately, so I guess it is good to have so much to do, keeps my mind off freaking out that I am not sleeping.  Well, at least sometimes.

So Maybe This is the Last of the Fall Goods

Fall goods are selling well this year--so I guess making an effort does count!  I thought I was done, but found a few more tins and gave them the autumnal treatment.

I had to do this next project over one million times--but my haunted mirror is haunted at last:

A Box of Blue Calico Beckoned to Me

I was just going to cover one little broom with some of my precious antique blue calico, but as usual, my enthusiasm got away with me and pretty soon every thing in my line of sight was swathed in blue.  Some have reproduction calico, many have the antique, I love it all very much.
