The bastards at eBay have made my store disappear right at the height of selling season and I want someone's head to roll. Many heads rolling would be even better. After I spent the week rushing to list as many items as I could, staying up late to get it done, leaving important things in my life undone just to be sure I was able to sell a few things. They tell me it is a technical glitch and could take a week to fix. Insert every bad word you know right here and that would be a good example of what I would like to be writing right now.
Anyone out there that wants to purchase something, just email me from the link to the right--it seems my only hope.
I just finished these cute red and green numbers. Too bad no one will see them.

Christmas Sales at Last
Things have picked up on eBay, so I have hit the ground running. I am still trying to clean my house and decorate, finish the million projects that always loom large, and do shipping and still try to feed the family, wash the clothes, walk the dog, do the errands, pay the bills...
Here are a few of the new Christmas goods I am listing.

A Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint Testimonial
I've been looking at Miss Mustard Seed milk paint products for a while now. I watched some of her tutorials and decided I needed to order some paint. The first thing I tried was painting things green and then going over them in red. I thought the red would chip more and show more green, but it is true that milk paint never does what you think it will, but it always knows best. I do love the results. The red is the perfect red and looks just like early paint, as you can see from the cast iron deer in the background--it has its original 120 year old red paint and my new creations match it very well. I'm trying the grainsack color next--looking forward to being surprised again.

House is Still a Mess and Now They are Returning Things
I am still working away trying to get one million things finished for the shop, vacillating between being all hopeful that sales will pick up and being depressed and sure that I am wasting my time. Sore throat is gone, but I am SOOOO tired. As I pick myself up and dust myself off, a little insult has been added to injury--I had to process a return for a completely adorable little tin cup with a tree in it. Here is the reason: this cup, which I titled "Tiny Tin Cup with Tree" and described as "this is very small, only 1-1/2" diameter" is being returned because "it is much smaller that I thought it would be--your photo and description were deceptive". I am calling them very bad names in my head, would love to do it out loud. I now take a break to listen to Shake it Off...
Here are a few things done (the photo table is full of new items that I will try to get to tomorrow)

Of Course I Have a Sore Throat
I think I get sick every year at this time, when I can least afford to be. I have been working non stop on getting the Christmas goods made. I think I got a late start this year, it was so hot forever, it didn't seem like Christmas was even going to happen. Then, bam! No fall, just straight to winter and freezing to death and now it is almost Thanksgiving and my house is a mess, time to think about putting up lights and garlands and who knows when there will be time. When I came up for air out of the workshop and realized how close Christmas is, the instant fretting started because sales seem to be slumping again. These are supposed to be prime shopping days and they aren't. I am selling, but never as much as I think I should. I cannot believe my inventory is going to get to 700 items for sale--I used to struggle to keep 100 items listed. Fret, fret, fret.
In facebook world, I don't know what is going on. I used to post things I was making and I would get at least 30 to 40 reactions, lots of comments, so there seemed to be a point to sharing. Any more, I maybe get 2 people reacting. Does this mean facebook is not sharing my posts? Are my posts just boring and nobody cares? I wish I knew.
Now to switch to the positive, I do love my new creations. I'd put them all in my house, and that is good, because it looks like they might just stay here...

The Paper Dolls are Out of Control
I purchased every little bottle brush tree in town and have used them all creating vast quantities of paper doll things. Here are just a few--my cupboards are overflowing with these!

Christmas Workshop Open, Nervous Breakdown Commencing
There are trees and jingle bells strewn over every surface in my house. The pile of antiques needing the attention of my paint brush has grown to mountainous proportions. The finished goods are sitting on all the chairs in the living room waiting for me to have time to photograph and list them. Sooooo, here is what I do have photographed and now to run off to list them...
