The kitchen remodel is moving along--the most miraculous development being having a working sink again. There are still no cupboards and the floor is plywood and the walls are still being repaired, but we have running water! I never thought I would be so happy to be able to wash dishes properly again. The "new" sink is from the 1930s, it looks better now than most new sinks, I really love it. The new faucets certainly prettied it up. It had an extra hole, which just had a metal cover, so we thought, "why not 2 spigots?" The one on the right is just for washing vegetables and filling pots, as it is not hooked into the water softener.
So, let's look at before--sad stainless steel sink.
Next, out to the porch where the big old sink sat for a couple months, all grungy and hopeless looking.
And finally, a clean and fully operational sink!
Ooooo....I LOVE your beautiful new old sink! Tres gorgeous!!! And, yeah...me too...ready for spring already.... Have missed you and your wonderful creations... Looking forward to reconnecting. Wishing you a wonderful 2016.... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
